Etariff.com Access Request

Trade Tech is the host of the Tariff Publishing Site etariff.com and login.etariff.com.

If you need to view the Tariff Rules, Title Page or Tariff Rates of an OTI that is published by etariff.com you can request access by clicking Submit a Request. 

In the request screen please provide your email, full name and organization name or organization number of the tariff you are requesting access for. 

The Trade Tech Support team will then review the request and provide access details as per the Tariff Access Rule of the specific OTI.  

Example below: 

In any eTariff login request Ticket cc, Sam, Tom and Sharon. 

First, confirm that the company is actively publishing its tariff with Trade Tech. If they are actively publishing with Trade Tech then we legally need to setup a login for them. 

To setup a login create the user with the below specs

- Login Name: Email Address_ORG#
- Company Code: GENERALSEA-HQ (If no account exists add Faccount as General eTariff Access, Account Code GENERAL, Suffix SEA-HQ)
- Main Menu: SyrinxOnly
- all other flags default

Then Copy features from WSTW user eTariffWSTW

Lastly email the salesperson to notify them that a FMC tariff login was requested for their customer by ____. Ask if they would like the CA  to notify the customer of the request or if the salesperson would prefer to notify them. 

Template to notify Customer:

"We are writing to inform you that a request was received to access your published tariff through the Syrinx platform by the following individual:

Name: 
Email: 

In accordance with Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) regulations, we are required to grant access to published tariff rules and rates upon request. As a result, this individual has been provided with eTariff access only.

Please note that this access is strictly limited to viewing tariff rules and rates. Nora Devine will have no visibility into any other areas of your account, including profiles, shipments, or any other confidential data.
